Mizuno Endure24 Reading & Leeds
Endure 24 is a 24 hour trail running relay race. Sponsored by Mizuno. A unique event in the running calendar which mixes serious ultra-running with a 24 hour team relay. Participants can enter as a solo runner, in a pair, or as small (3-5 people) or large (6-8 people) teams. This means virtually anyone of any ability can take part covering anything from 5 to 135 miles over the weekend; the perfect opportunity to enjoy a challenging, rewarding and fun weekend of trail running.
Endure24 opens at 10am on Friday morning with around 3000 participants and a similar number again of families and supporters camping on-site until Sunday afternoon. The purpose-built race village has everything people need for the weekends camping including 24 hour catering, massage, toilet and shower facilities. Once camp is set-up and runners have registered on Friday the fun begins early evening with the kid’s race followed by music and entertainment until late in the race village.
Billed as ‘Glastonbury for runners’, the multi-award winning Mizuno Endure24 is unique, fun, quirky and loved by the people who take part, many returning with larger contingents each year. Some running clubs now field over 100 entrants.

Green Park Royal Berkshire 10K
Started by Racesolutions in 2013 and sponsored by Green Park, the “RB10K” is now well-established as Berkshires premier road race, and the country’s most colourful and family friendly running event. Starting and finishing by the lakes within the landscaped grounds of Green Park, the Royal Berkshire 10K features the 3K Mini-Marathon, the Mini-Mile, and the Green Park School’s Challenge. This exciting event can be enjoyed by the whole family, with the schedule allowing time for parents to run with and support their children, before taking part in the 10k race themselves. Many runners and their families make the most of the glorious surroundings and enjoy a post-race picnic by the lake in the race village.
The 10K route is a one-lap, rural, road closed route around Pingewood lakes. Run under UKA rules, the course is flat with good surfaces with few twists and turns making it perfect for faster runners looking for a personal best. Equally the course offers a great experience for new, less experienced runners. Scenic countryside, two support stations offering bottled water, bands, entertainment and supporters all help to keep the runners motivated on route, as do the team of Pace Runners. The RB10K caters for the full mix of runners attracting elite athletes and first-time 10K runners. Elite athlete Lily Partridge set a new female course record in 2017 finishing in 34.06.
Green Park is a landscaped, 195 acre business park which is home to many international companies such as CISCO, Pepsico, Bayer and Huawei. Managed by Mapletree Properties, each year a large proportion of the management team take part in the race. Races don’t get much slicker than this!
